Aftermarket CPAP Parts
When searching online for CPAP filters, or related sanitizer parts, you will undoubtedly come across aftermarket CPAP parts. Similar to automotive, if you have been to a repair shop, then you understand that original parts can be extremely expensive. Think of brand name vs generic medications for example. With CPAP parts, this is a decision you will likely face. It is important to research the aftermarket brands and their reviews online. Aftermarket parts are typically cheaper compared to the OEM alternatives.
What Exactly Are Aftermarket Parts?
Aftermarket parts are those made by a manufacturer other than the original equipment manufacturer. Often times, aftermarket parts originate from completely different sources, factories, etc. They just were not made or distributed by the OEM.
Does it really matter who makes the parts?

It also largely depends on the specific line, market, and who makes it. With the automation of manufacturing processes in modern factories, the quality of aftermarket parts has drastically improved making them equal or even higher quality than OEM parts.
